On Saturday, August 4th, 2007, from 5 to 8 pm, the Capture gallery in Healdsburg, California, will host a reception for Bill Atkinson,
at the opening of an exhibit of Bill's new gallery-wrap canvas prints. The thirty-two prints range in size from 30 by 40 inches to 54 by 72 inches.
The show concentrates on mineral abstracts but also includes some of Bill's favorite landscapes.
Bill will be available for conversation, sharing techniques for making the canvas prints, and autographing copies of his book,
Within the Stone. A free book will be given to each person who purchases a print.
The Capture gallery is located at 105 Plaza Street in Healdsburg, about 70 miles north of San Francisco, just off Highway 101.
The reception is open to the public and we hope you are able to attend. Call (707) 431-7030 to RSVP.
If you miss the reception, you can still see the canvas prints in the gallery for the following six weeks.
You can also contact Bill to arrange a private showing at his studio.
